Art Club at JFK Middle School

 

Art Club is open to all students at John F. Kennedy Middle School as long as they are in good academic standing.  The school year is divided into three sessions for our Art Club Students.  

• September through the end of November is for 6th grade students.

• December through March is for 7th grade students.

• April through June is for our 8th grade students.

 

Art Club meets once a week after the school day ends from 3:05 to 3:45.  Students work on projects that enhance what they are learning in thier Art classes and also that help beautify our school community.  Some examples of these projects are the murals painted on the lockers throughout the hallways, the planting and upkeep of our school courtyard, and the ceiling tiles that are painted and hung every year.
